The Star, the Manger, and the Divine Infant

The divine infant (Part III)
These days we read and hear about the divine infant. The ‘little Christ’ – as many love to call Him – who is present in our homes as a newborn figure among others, gazing at us from beneath our Christmas tree.
The first time Jesus came down to earth as a baby. However, it will not be the same the second time (Revelation 19:11-18). The heavens will suddenly open, and ‘the Faithful and True’ will come on a white horse, accompanied by heavenly armies, to judge and wage war with righteousness. On His robe and His thigh, He will have written the name: ‘King of Kings and Lord of Lords.’
The little ‘protagonist’ of the manger is thus ‘clothed’ with much love, but also with authority. And with this authority, He says to each of us today: ‘I assure you absolutely, unless someone is born from above, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.’ He showed us the way to our salvation. Now the decision is yours and mine.
