Haven of Hope.

A warm embrace for our fellow human beings

God called us to “love one another,” and this is precisely what the volunteers of the Greek Christian Church’s ministry, “Haven of Hope,” put into practice. This ministry is an open embrace for the poor, the rejected, and the sick. Within our Church’s premises, they can find a warm meal, take a bath, wash their clothes, and receive whatever they need. At the same time, they find the hope and love they need in the person of Jesus, as the volunteers teach them the Word of God. The team members draw inspiration from the verses in the Gospel of Matthew 25:31-36, which describe the attitude God desires us to have towards our needy fellow human beings. An attitude that moves beyond words and into the heart of the problem and action!
